Description:

Ballyteigue House catered for Guests on a B&B Dinner basis up to 2003 and has been mentioned in lots of prestigious guides such as the “Bridgestone 100 Best Places to Stay” and the “Karen Brown Guide”, and now the house’s owners Richard and Margaret Johnson are vacating their house and opting for weekly/monthly lettings.

The House can accommodate 9 people comfortably and there is a Courtyard Cottage which can accommodate an extra 6 people.

The House consists of 5 Bedrooms, 4 double or twin, and a single room. All rooms have their own bathroom.

There is a gracious drawing room, a dining room which can seat 10 people around a large dining table, and there are extra tables if required. There is a sitting room with open fire and TV.

The Kitchen was originally a reception room, but has been converted to a spacious fully equipped kitchen.

Washing Machine and Dryer are in a separate area.

Should Guests require Maid Service, that can be arranged. There are lots of good restaurants locally, and if one would wish to dine in, a local chef is available.

Golf , Fishing, Fox Hunting and Riding are all available locally. The historic town of Bruree is 5 kilometres, and Kilmallock is 11 kilometres from Ballyteigue.

Main Line Train service for Charleville (8 kilometres) can get you to Dublin in 2 hours and Cork in 40 minutes.

We are 30 kilometres from Limerick, with Shannon Airport 1 hour away and Cork Airport 1½ hours and approximately 2 hours from Waterford.

Tourist Sites Such as Cashel, Blarney, Killarney, Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher are all within easy day trip distance from Ballyteigue House.
