Race organised by the vibrant Galtee Runners A.C.

Galtee Runners A.C. will host an 8km road race and walk through the town of Mitchelstown and the surrounding countryside at the foot of the Galtee mountains on Friday August 6th at 8p.m.

This is the first race to be held by the club and they are very ambitious to put on a well organised and enjoyable event. The race serves as the 5th race in the
Ballyhoura Summer series

The base for the race will be at St. Fanahans College sports hall with the start and finishing points just half a mile away.

Mitchelstown is easily accessible from the Cork-Dublin Road (N8) (See Google map to the right) or via Kilfinane or Mallow
